I lucked out last year and scored a used Catalinbread DLS MKII. Turned out to be an awesome pedal for Marshall flavours.

But watching some videos on the newer mkIII , I'm gassing big time!

It seems as if the mkIII is a pretty significant upgrade to justify getting one. One thing that impresses me with my mkII is how I can run a FuzzFace before it and not have it overload the input of the DLS. My Fulltone OCD can be dialed in to sound similar to the DLS II but gets all woofy and farty when hitting it with a FuzzFace. I discovered this on my own before reading it on Catalinbread's website.

There's also the new Plexi pedal out from Wampler , another good contender too to make for even more option anxiety! LOL
