I annihilated my Eventide H9 with a glass of wine

I once laid my Bass on a PA speaker to run across the club for a drink.

They started playing music loudly and I could see my Bass MOVING slowly towards the front of the cab with every bass drum hit. The room was totally packed and I couldn’t get through and watched my Bass fall off the speaker and off the stage.
It survived but I never lay anything on top of speakers now.
Except for my Mr T piggy bank

Probably won’t work as it’s been switched on, but the old “put it in a bag of rice for 24 hours” trick has worked for many a cellphone of mine that got wet and crapped out. Maybe worth a try. Failing that, time to drink more…

:aok

Yea, I woulda unplugged it quick, then opened er up dried er off and tossed it in a bag o rice as mentioned.
Being that the wine mighta made some unwanted electrical contact, you are most likely SOL now though. Id still try though.
