Here's my Weber JTM45/Plexi thing, sitting atop a MusicMan 4-12 that I pulled from the local landfill about 10 years ago.

The head has the JTM power section, with a JJ GZ-34 rectifier, and a plexi-ish pre-amp, with a few mods. Switchable .68uf cathode bypass cap on V2, switchable .0047uf bright cap on the bright channel and the Lar/Mar ppimv. It has NOS Tesla EL-34's, a Tungsgram in V1 and RFT's in V2 & V3

The cab is loaded with 2 WGS ET-65's and 2 V-30's. I re-covered it in Red Levant to match the head. New corners, side handles and casters were added as well.

Looks pretty good, but your knobs are all wrong. They only go to 10. If you were going to build the amp anyway, you should have just made them go to eleven. Because if you're playing with it at 10 and you need a little extra oomph, where is there to go? Nowhere.

    I hear ya!

I asked Weber if they would make the faceplates go to eleven. Just might have to have a custom one made up!

Beautiful, clean, very professional looking. I'd like to see pics of the 18 watt in the background too.

All Swart amps go to 11, for when you're at ten and....

Also, that is some grade A gear porn. You did a great job all the way around.

    Thanks :)

If those Metro faceplates fit this chassis, I'd have one!
