I built this strat...and it rocks!

    Yep, its true. I built this strat from parts sourced everywhere. The body was from a forum member-2 piece ash=$50, neck is a Warmoth birdseye from Ebay=$200, Wilkinson trem,Schaller tuners,various parts from Warmoth=$250, Duncan Custom and Dimarzio Area pickups from all over about $100. Thats about $600 for the whole thing and to tell you the truth, its better that any other strat ive owned! And there has been a few!
    Oh, and i did the finish!! Even had a guy make a waterslide with my name.

    I guess im saying that if your thinking about building something similair, you should go for it. Its very rewarding!!

    You got that right!! Half of what my EJ cost, and because it meets my requirements, way more usable...

    That looks sweet!!!! Congrats! I've been toying the the idea of building myself a Strat type guitar as well.

    I am absolutely in love with the swirl colors!!! When you bought the body was it already painted, or did you send it to someone? If so, who did it for you?

    I guy from ebay whos name i forget. Just search on headstock decal and he will be there. He will make pretty much anything. 6 decals in 2 different colors cost $20.
