I can't believe I gave one of my amps a name.

    It wasn't planned, I wasn't trying. At some point I was thinking about the huge tone I get from my 68 50 watt plexi and all of a sudden

    THUMPER

    from the movie "Bambi" just popped up from my childhood and came to mind.

    I think it's kinda cute.

    I haven't done it yet but my bassplayer calls his amp 'Blue Thunder' and my guitarist calls one of his guitars 'Linda Joy'... I don't name my stuff but there are lots that do..your not alone

    its sacrilidge fellas, guitars only & the names must be girls name just like a ship. please correct you behaviour & dont do it again!

    I think exceptions can also be made when naming them after Norse deities.

    Haha! I named my two of my Marshalls "Bud" & "Sissy" a couple of years ago. The bassist made me LOL @ practice a few nights back when he suggested I use Sissy and give Bud a rest.
