I got a 2x12 Komet cab

I have a Komet 19 head and was running it through a Bruno Blue Alnico 2x12 cab. Nice for Beatles kind of stuff, but a bit bright for 80s classic rock, which I also play.

I looked at a bunch of cabs but decided to pay a few hundred additional bucks and spring for a Komet cab. Put the order in through Ken Volpe at Ultrasound and it was finished in four weeks, right on schedule.

Mine is 2x12 with Greenback and GH30, Komet's standard loaded 2x12.

I quite like it. Has better projection than the Bruno and not as loud due to the inefficient speakers. I've gigged it now about four times.

True, it cost more, but it's a Komet cab and looks cool with my Komet 19 head, and my Greer CAM 18 head.

So for me the few hundred extra spent was worth it. I got what I wanted and am satisfied.

I'm currently waiting on some speakers from Scumback to load in a Komet 4x12. As soon as the speakers arrive I will post a pic. I'm real excited, I havn't had a 4x12 cabinet in 15 years. I joked with Jim @ Scumback about this being a lifetime cabinet for me. He was quick to tell me he has 6 of those.....
