Broke down and bought a "Box of Rocks"....Now with my Analogman Maxon Silver Mod Tube Screamer and this .....I should have the bases covered ( at least for now)...Now if my band can just put up with me dialing this thing in at practice....

It's like, he couldn't just copy it off the front of the pedal he just bought, right?

It's kind of bizarre and I really don't get the phenomenon... I swear more people call it a Box of Rocks than a Box of Rock. 'Sup with that?

When I read the title I thought of a Craigslist personal ad:moon. Sorry, I'm usually more tasteful than this but I've been cooped up in the house all week:). But seriously, is everyone here an English teacher or something? Give the guy a break, he just got a great pedal. I throw peanuts at you from my gallery:moon! Kidding, of course. Hey Steve, congrats! What amp are you running it through? I ask because the ZVEX website suggests it's best when run through a Marshall. I've always been curious about what the exact differences would be if you could a/b the pedal with say a Fender and a Marshall.

I'm happy that Steve got one, believe me - I enjoyed the pedal when I had one! And hopefully, in a later post, he can tell us if he liked it or not.
It's just become a pet peeve of mine over the past year as everyone keeps calling it a Box of Rocks. Sorry if anyone got offended.

Steve, what band do you play in?

Looks like a great pedal. I've yet to play one.

Welcome to the BoR Club :)

You are going to love it, when I kicked it on into my JCM800 it literally gave me another amp, being the 2205's are sort of a 2 trick pony this added another layer into the mix, the boost is awesome too.

Zack don't forget, Make the "Box of Tape" echo pedal :)

    Hells yea.
In fact, I thought it excelled at the lower gain end of the spectrum. Warm, dynamic, thick, and clear. Not as authentic sounding as my Menatone WMB, but in the ballpark and an excellent sounding pedal in its own right!
