    do like everyone else.
    buy it.
    sell it.
    keep it.
    extoll it's virtues.
    slam it's UI
    love it.
    hate it.
    compare it.
    waffle about it.
    be firm about it.

    then go play yer guitar.

Buy it. Return it of it's not enough better than the AmpliFIRE to justify keeping.

Buy it! It's a cool little unit, I'm having a blast playing with it.

Questions: 1. Is there something you need/want that the Amplifire isn't delivering? 2. Do you have $1000-$1500 (depending on whether you'd subsequently sell the Amplifire) burning a hole in your pocket?

I'm bored, obviously. The OP almost reads like it was posted by a bot. :)

I suppose the first question is: do you have $1500 available to spend?

I might be biased, but I say you buy it, hook it up, turn it up, and scare your cat!

And if you don't have a cat, get one.

You requested an invite for a reason ...yes ? Buy and try it and put the itch to rest. Return if doesn't work for you. At the end of the day potentially out some shipping charges...big whoop ;)

I just got an invite too. I was kind of intrigued by it when I signed up and thought I might try one. Now that I have the invite, I'm not feeling as interested. I haven't decided to pass, but I'm leaning that way at the moment.

    Peace,

Buy it and report how you hate it even before the box is opened.

if you have monies, current gear is irrelevant. you must buy it. this is a general rule, esp. here.

the ax8 is a great unit. i have a ton of presets coming out in the near future for that unit. tons of great amp models, cabinets, and effects. the newest firmware coming out (Quantum 3) makes this thing unbelievable. i'm not one to chase the latest firmware, but this one is worth it.

the amplifire is still a great unit for what it is. great tone can be had, but the effects/amp models are a little bit limited by comparison. the amplifire is great to throw in your guitar case and go gig.

I've replaced the AF with my AX8 in my live rig.
    It's that good.
