The Viking Pillager- just a great amp, great cleans & overdrive. I own one myself
Two Rock. Ask Kimock. He plays all those styles very very well.
$3,200 on an amp is absolutely ludicrous.
Your absolutely correct. Thats' why I spend 6,000.
Iwould get a Two-rock Custom, Custom Reverb, or if you could get one for that price used a Classic Reverb. Good luck!!
With that much to spend on an amp I would be out playing any and everything. You should decide for yourself what sounds right, especially if you're willing to spend that much money, but that's just me.
Brand new Bruno Cowtipper Pro II 35 and an Ethos pedal. Lifetime guarantee, and the best clean tones on the planet. Call Gene or Ken at Ultrasound studio in NY. Amp Sales: Gene 212-967-5626 or Ken 203-966-2096 They are dealers for many of the highest regarded boutque amps in the world, and will help you no matter what you want.
Look at SOME of what they have. http://www.ultrasoundrehearsal.com/sellrent/index.html
Man...I hate these "Suggest me an amp" threads but yet...I read them...lol!!
**** get two Lonestars for that much money
Try the Dr. Z EZG-50.. Or the Maz 38 and 18 Jr.. They're great and won't break your bank. Also Dr. Z Galaxie....
Blackface Super Reverb...you can pick it up for around $1500-$2000 with Jensens. Take the rest and buy a new guitar.
Great cleans, amazing breakup! You can't go wrong.
+++++1. If I had the money to spend, the Kingsley Tone Baron would be the hands down, top-of-the-list for what the OP described.
a used twin reverb and a 335.
I know were you can get a near mint Fender VibroKing Custom for around 1800.00
What he said. Won't depreciate, either!
Oh man. I would check out /13, Category 5, Two Rock or an old tweed or brownface Fender! So many possibilities with that amount of money.
Save up another $21,800.00 and get a Dum-ball. Then all us forumites will think you are an awesome guitarist.
And when you need to get it serviced, maybe someone will de-goup it without detroying it.
No wait, you can also send it to Alexander. He'll honor a transferable, lifetime warranty, won't he?
divided by 13. I got the edt 13/29 and it is amazing.....
how many watts do you need? for me, around $2000, a goodsell super 17 would be one of my first choices. although if i had $3200 id probably get a nice vintage amp
