Wow, those tunes are great as backing tracks. What a cool specialty niche. This could have never found it's way to production in the music business prior to the Internet.

Sounds like SRV's Riviera Paradise with some horns.

Considering it was written/recorded in '77 or so, i'd say its the other way around.

Red Ant: really tasty toe waggling. Thanks for the bt.

Charlie: admirable restraint! But really nice stuff too, bro.

stelligan: I liked those lines a lot and the second tone worked great.

I don't have the chops to swim in the same seas as ya'll most of the time... what can I say? Charlie put me up to it.:)

    Clay,
good thinkin to pull out the wah for this. definitely made it your own bro. :AOK
what you did and how you played on this was as if someone lifted this track right out of a time machine from the 70's. very cool in a progressive, jazzy sort of way.

we want more! tasty playing man, and some nice note choices. kept it flowing nicely and I liked that 'effect' from about 1:06 on. nice job following some of the horn lines too.

Hey, what's a Red Plate Amp? are they D-Style?
