    Kriko71. . . . Karim. . . did this.

It's quite fitting that the first Screwdriver Deluxe made should end up in this newest configuration.. . . .

Karim is a true professional. I contacted Marc about doing something like this, but he was sincerely not interested in re-housing his old pedals. I can't blame him. . . seeing he's selling NEW ones five months out.

I will tell you that it wasn't cheap. I'll let Karim quote his own prices, so don't bother with asking. He had to re-wire the entire pedal (I have pics of the inside too). This is my dream pedal. This is what I always wanted. When you've finally found the pedal that does what you've been looking for and hearing in your head. . . you want it to work for your board!!!!

I also believe that it is POSSIBLE to change a regular screwdriver to this configuration. It may end up costing even more than mine did though, because trim pots have to be swapped out for real pots. . . .

Anyway, below you may see my Screwdriver fetish. . . .

The original Deluxe box is going back to its original owner. The Suchus Leth is going home. The other two will be up for sale in no time. . . . .

It is quite sick. . . I played for three hours straight when I got it back. . .

    The bare metal one is actually screwdriver #32. . . . . made for someone named Karl in 2006. . . and doesn't have a pregain trim. . . .

Karim does such awesome work-I love the stark look of an all black pedal. Good to see him doing work for others.

Wow. I loved the SD while I had it, but the trims were never set and forget for me. I loved messing with them for different sounds which made it very frustrating having it on the board. The deluxe is too big, but this... This is awesome.

I'd love to see a gut shot. I know I can fit the pots in there, but it looked to me like there wouldn't be enough clearance with the input/output jacks. Maybe I was wrong though! Great job getting all those on a small box like that! Or is that maybe a slightly bigger enclosure than a 1590B?

Im pretty sure thats a 125B based on the size of the switch and the amount of space above and below the jacks. If you abandoned the battery it wouldn't be much of an issue to fit everything in a 1590B though I think. You could also consider enclosed jacks with all PCB mounted pots on the same PCB footprint with a new layout but that may or may not be a simple task.

It's indeed a 1590N1. I chose this over the 1590 to leave room for a battery (that didn't come standard in the deluxe). It is possible to fit everything into a 1590 though, but will have to sacrifice the battery.
I have to say that the screwdriver is a hell of a versatile pedal!

I've always thought this was a great idea, like the ones on the Malekko 616 and some of the MI Audio pedals.

125B, jacks moved to the back. $20 in parts and an hour of my time. :) Started as a regular Screwdriver and with Marc's kind info was changed into a deluxe. Now I just have to remember to order the matching knobs.
