I just bought another Vox AC50CP head...

I love this amp so much I just bought another for my backup (for $400 again!!!). Great crunch on the gain channel, swirly amazing cleans.


And it takes pedals incredibly well.


I feel like I stole these amps!!!

Congrats on the AC50CPH, great deal too. So glad I got rid of my AC50CPH when I did as I paid $1100 for it new, no way I would have sold it now for $400.

Yep, those are great amps.

I've got the 100 watt head and yes it IS a very nice head. It's uncanny how great it sounds on the lower gainside with the gain set at a bit of crunch then slamming it with a Box of Rock. It is excellent.

i really like these amps too, a friend of mine picked up an AC-50 combo for 400 bucks a year or two back and it sounds great with just a TS. i really enjoy channel 1.

Will do, just as soon as I get them back from the boys at Savage Audio. I'm having them replace the stock tubes, and give it a good checking over.
