    Well, I've just sold a bit of Lacrosse gear and since I've no real need to keep my budget tight I have $250 that has G.A.S. written all over it.
    Well, first of all my current effects setup is:
    Guitar->
    Ernie Ball Volume Pedal->
    Fulltone Soul-Bender Fuzz->
    Barber Direct Drive->
    Electro Harmonix Small Stone->
    RMC 1 Wah->
    Amp

    Variables:
    Maestro Echoplex (Rarely used and only for recording)
    Electro Harmonix Big Muff
    Electro Harmonix POG

    So, that's my current tonal palate. If anyone wants to recommend me some good pedals they've had experience with in my price range that would be absolutely wonderful. I'm not looking for anything in particular, just something new.

    Just throw some ideas out there... absolutely anything

    A couple of Skreddys come to mind.

    1) Mayo - very heavy distortion/fuzz in the Smashing Pumpkins vein.

    2) Pink Flesh - Similar to Mayo but more articulate

    You'd have to get both used since they are no longer available.

    Freakshow Brown Rabbit - Rat sound

    One glaring omission in your current setup is that you have no delay. One that's in your price range is the Freakshow Digilog. Or the Dr. Scientist Sunny Day Delay (http://drscientist.ca/pedaldetail.php?pedal_code=sdd).

    A phaser of some kind might be cool, too. I really like my Red Witch Deluxe Moon.

    Of all those, though, I'd get a delay if I were in your shoes.

    I've already got the Small Stone, so I'm fine as far as phasers go, but delay definitely has my attention. I love my Echoplex, but there's no way I'd ever take that out of the house. That Dr. Scientist sounded really nice.

    Check out the different graphic schemes on the Sunny Day Delay, too. Very cool looking.

    I haven't played through that specific delay, but I have their tremolo and it's excellent. I know the Digilog gets a fair amount of attention as well.

    i'd look for a good delay if i were you. with $250 you can get a nice analog pedal.

    Dido on that... I know its Boss... but I still love my DD-20.. I still have some great boutique delays, but the DD-20 is a great pedal. the DL4 is great, but needs the mod.
