I left my Dual Recto on for 5 days!

    ...on standby....DUH! It seems OK. How much tube wear do you figure I've tacked on? 120 hours?
    I know stupid question, but I was wondering how much wear is there in standby mode.

    yeah you've added wear to the filaments and nothing else. Shouldn't notice any adverse effects in performance.

    Just fine brutha! As long as it was on standby, its doing what it was made to do. should have serious mojo now!!! Its applying voltages that wear them out more. Drive it like you stole it!!

    ya mee to, but on purpose. I leave mine on for days, I jam all the time on the weekends. so, I just let my amps run.. then standby when I walk away. come back.. flip it and rock out.

    I recently left my 18 watt Marshall clone on standby for about three days with a thick padded Lecover on it! Didn't seem to have caused a problem thank God.
