I made a video demo of the Cool Cat Distortion

    I like this pedal. It sounds pretty close to my Maxon SD-9. The Maxon is a little cleaner for solo work, but the Cool Cat is no slouch. It's a very nice distortion. Not sure what it's a clone of, but I sure like it ... :)

    I am using my Suhr Classic on this clip. I forgot to mention that. Suhr V60LP pickups.

    I see it's put after a buffered pedal.
    How about it alone?
    And with humbuckers?

    It's not after a buffered pedal, all the pedals ahead of it are true bypass. Sounds great with humbuckers too.

    you're right. I thought that the maxon was buffered.
