Two months ago I traded my TRRI for a Mesa Express 5.50+
    I miss my TRRI.
The only con with the Fender is the weight.
I think I'm willing to risk a heart attack with another Twin.
I don,t think I'm even looking for advice.
    Just talking out loud.

I support your return to the Twin.

I bought a '66 BFTR last year and I love it to death. I had some fun replacing the filter capacitors, changing the power tubes, rebiasing it, etc. The weight isn't an issue since I'm not gigging, so it just stays at the same spot at home.

I'm also a fan of Mesa Boogie amps, but for a Strat or Tele, there is nothing like the Twin Reverb.

    Thank you.
I guess what i need is some moral support from the Twin bleachers.

I tend to prefer Mesa's, but I can't seem to go for too long without a Deluxe Reverb.

I also can't bear a massive amp - my Mark III was heavier than a Twin when it was in combo format. I switched to a head and cabinet - MUCH BETTER!

    Look for a Showman.
