I moved on to Strandberg to satisfy my ultra lightweight, weird-looking guitar obsession. Not the same but it fills that niche for me. Still have Classic and Deluxe Parkers but my ‘bergs get most of my attention these days.

Oddly was never accused of shilling Greer. I was a dealer as you know but I was very good about following the rules.

I thought both were ridiculous until I played them.
Not ashamed to admit some Parker and Strandberg gas from time to time.
    Especially with my back. LOL

I went to actually go buy a Strandberg once. Cool guitar, I love it’s odd shape and general weird vibe. I decided to sleep on it. While I was hemming and hawing about getting one, a pristine deluxe from 2001 came up on craigslist so I got that instead. I just love the neck on the Deluxes.

Didn't see this until now; been *extremely* busy with work, life, gigging and riding my motorcycle when it isn't raining. LOL

I'll reveiw the thread but a few quick facts:
    • I am not dead.
    • I am administrator of TGP
    • My rig has been discussed by me in a thread; though it's been a while. Fractal AX-8, 64 Audio IEM's, 4 expression pedals and a Digitech Freqout pedal
    • I am gigging most every week with my band (link in signature) and doing P&W at my Church
    • I care deeply about playing, performing, tone and gear just as always but don't feel the need to post about it as much
Just add a Freqout to this and there you are:

Just add me on top of this and there I'll be instead of arguing on the Internet about gear:

I will be using the FM3, but the AX8 is going nowhere soon. Unless it sits for a month getting dusty, it's been bomb proof for years and sounds great.

Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's first law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only truth.

    Ready, steady, never look back..........

Is there any better endorsement for a regularly gigged piece of gear that runs on AC mains? No, there isn't.

    So.....

I'm glad to hear everything is going great. My first reaction to the thread title was that something bad had happened... or I've been private messaging with a ghost for the past 6 months. :D

a blade runner board and a bike! we're all evolving. one of my friend just traded in a honda for a triumph; a solid steve mcqueen move.

under my nose is a small board with old style big box pedals; a solid holden caulfield move.

the destination is the tombstone the journey is your life's story. may we all be fortunate to travel on towards a blaze of glory.

Why would anyone get worked up what gear anyone else was using? If you have enough time to worry about someone's gear then you need to take a good long hard look at yourself.

Hello Scott … great to hear all is well! To those who don't know him , Scott Peterson is a total class act that gave a lot of time and energy to TGP. Many of us followed his gear journeys and enjoyed his perspective on all things guitar. He also showed the same class dealing with some very rude people (and a few complete idiots) over the years.

Thank you Scott for all you do!!
