Everything in this photo is long gone (except the tuner and cable!), but looking back through some photos I recall what a truly amazing rig this was...

That is all.

Killer rig! May I ask why you got rid of it?

Ask you may indeed!
I got rid of it for the same reason I get rid of every piece of gear that I've ever gotten rid of... to try new gear!

Indeed there's far too little fuzz- heck, there's none at all :D I actually had a sunface at that time (NKT 275 version) and it was killer with this setup. Ah what a good time that was. Can't believe it was about two years ago!

I've still got a TTE (just not the one in the picture) and would like to get both the Swart amp and a tele again.... a Sex Drive and Picture wah would be great, too. Can't you tell I really miss this rig?! haha.

Guess you like the TTE? I've been gasing for one, any input you have would be greatly appreciated. Worth the money or are they a hassel to deal with?

Well, they are a bit of a hassel to deal with at times, but totally worth the dough in the long run, methinks, as you won't get that sound from anything else.

Yessi, purple is still with me!

That is a sweet looking rig. I would miss it too. You are right though, there is not enough DAM fuzz.:hiP

I miss my original Swart AST too Marko.

I also never should have sold my '98 Collectors Tele. The two Teles I have now are probably as good but I've ended up spending thousands to get to that point. I initially sold the '98 because I got fooled into thinking the CS ones must be better-most that I tried weren't!

This '98 Collectors Tele with GVCG Lollars fitted was as good as anything I've had.

say what you will about buyers regret, nothing is worst than selling a perfectly good rig.

finally put this together.
DSC_0604.jpg

got a peachfuzz and superdelay joining these.
if they dont work, both are going and a tte is coming back in.
ocd is on notice when the red witch famulus is released. if neither work, my old favourites, ulbrick megalodon and 12axe are high on the priority list
medusa could go if i can get a tube reverb/trem unit built to couple with the amp.

I try to just buy a bigger house and never sell anything (well, I have some duplicates that I've been moving over the last year, but really, how many Vibrochamps does one man need?). But, as for selling stuff I'm happy with, I try not to do it because it always costs more to buy it back!
