After a very favorable impression of the Lavacable ELC cable on my board, I temporarily lost my mind and ordered a 15' Integration Hybrid for the guitar/board connection. I never thought I would spend that much money on a cable. Who else out there has made the purchase? What did you think?

I'm thinking about taking the plunge myself! How do you like the cable? Worth the investment?

Marko has them. If he catches us talking about it. he'll be here. I would love to know what their patch cables are like!

Never tried the VdH cables but I went with the Vovox cables and have been very impressed with them. I'm sure the VdH cables are just as good or better.

VDH user for years now. They do get looser with time, and i could be imagining things but they sound better too. Clearly the best I've played with most, but not all setups.

Oh, he'll post a good review, all right. "This cable is the best damn cable ever invented! It makes me play like Django, SRV and Steve Vai all rolled into one! No really, it's that good...really....umm...I'm going to go set myself on fire now...:cry::cry::cry::cry::cry::cry:"

    agreed Steve.

Though, if I played a lot of high gain, I think I might take the vdH.

I went a little nuts last year too. I have the VDH from guitar to board and from board to amp. I also have the VDH Bay5 patch cables and the VDH speaker cable.

I bought one... loved it... bought the 2nd one plus the speaker cable a week later... loved those... then bought the patch cables the next month.

They are so open sounding that they'll make most other cables sound harsh in comparison. There's a sweetness to the high end. Hard to describe.

I bit the bullet on the cost, and never looked back. No regrets at all.

I used them on some acoustic gigs as well. (Plugged in thru a PA obviously.) Incredible. They let so much sound through.

I'm sure the Vovox cables are killer as well. Never tried them though.
