The bone dry neck really put me off, it was insanely dry. Even the online retailer agreed (i sent photos) and said to send it back.

I was going back and forth but ultimately decided on the cherry one. Black looks awesome!

It’s a great guitar and if you’re looking for a wide range of tone, that’s the one to get. Incredibly versatile - you won’t be disappointed.

I was just going through a bit of dilemma when I sold my Les Paul convincing myself I needed a Strat - but ultimately concluded I’m not a Strat guy and sold it in favor of the SG. I am an HH guy and I love Gibson so I went that way instead. I also have a Jackson that’s a beast but not as versatile as the SG.

It took me about 6 guitars to get here. The SG lives in the shadow of its more expensive Les paul brother but (to me) its so much better in a number of ways.

You chose wisely, black scratches so easily and the scratches stick out like a sore thumb.

I'm not in the 'relic' camp, even my used gear is mint. See that half stack, its mint!

Speed knobs instead of the top hats? I'm heading over to GC and they have them in stock.

After, silver top knobs (they are a bit taller), crème colored toggle, and installed my poker chip.

Removing the factory knobs required a pair of channel lock pliers they are stuck on like a tick.
