I need a new set of Strat pickups. Not expensive!

I'd find a set of Fender CS Fat '50s for that puppy. I think they're great pickups and perfect for that guitar.

Duncan SSL-1 (maybe SSL-5 for the bridge depending on what you want) for more classic tones. Texas Specials for a hotter tone.

I've heard good things about the Fat 50s too.

Each set sounds remarkably similar to my 73' Burst Strat which has the original pups and from what I understand, are highly regarded.
They sound great.
