Just purchased a Classic 50's Strat, not sure if I like the pups. Thinking about changing them. Please recommend some not too pricey ones. Thanks!

I'd find a set of Fender CS Fat '50s for that puppy. I think they're great pickups and perfect for that guitar.

Duncan SSL-1 (maybe SSL-5 for the bridge depending on what you want) for more classic tones. Texas Specials for a hotter tone.

I've heard good things about the Fat 50s too.

DiMarzio Areas for noiseless.

I've always had success trolling the emporium here for pickups for projects. Good stuuf, fairly priced.

Used fender CS 54's for my $$. Work great in that guitar, I've seen them as low as 100 for the set on ebay.

The SSL 1 is a good place to start. But really, it depends on the type of music you play.

I like SD APS-1s. A little warmer sounding than SSL-1s. But all suggestions so far have been solid.
