I wouldn't call mine extremely rare, but it was made in limited edition.

When this thread started, I posted this Orange Metropolitan Glendale.
A few weeks ago, a Metro Tanglewood in Shell Pink popped up. Made in 1996, factory Bigsby.
22 pounds of guitar Metropolitans! (YIKES!)
The Robin Savoy ain't no lightweight either.

I bought a limited run Dean V-Wing Dove where only 24 were made. Pure white and looks like something Elvis would have liked. Last I heard there were only 16 left due to damage and what not. Probably not worth squat, but rare.

I still have the manual for that guitar, although the guitar itself is long gone!

Another fine print guitar, and one I wish I still owned, was a Turner Model 1, no piezo, in gold leaf. The guitar itself wasn't that special, but the finish was one of one!

If it gets below 40 degrees, it turns into a ukulele

When I had my guitar shop from 76 to 2002 I was a Metropolitan dealer.. the build quality was incredible, but the weight was as well. I’ve gone to playing Airlines which although they are made in a small factory in Korea, their build quality is similar but the weight of these hollow mahogany guitars ranges from the Weird Tele at 6 lbs. to the Map at 8 lbs... the Bigsby equipped Guitars I have are under 9 lbs...
