with some new guitar effects! Tell me about what kind of crazy stuff you've been using/screwing around with. Some things I've been interested in are the zvex fuzz factory and guitar synths, delays, processors.

So tell me - what are you experimenting with?

I have a Pigtronix Mothership. Pretty crazy stuff. Has a VCO that you can tune, a ring mod that follows either the VCO or your input signal, a suboctave, a glide (glissando) feature, and an expression pedal that you can use to effect the VCO and ring mod....its like an analog whammy type thing!

Hard to describe...check it out!

i have fun trying to coax crazy/experimental sounds out of mixing simple effects rather than buying something made specifically for that type of sound.

I absolutely LOVE my EHX HOG. So many wonderful sounds to be discovered in that box. By far my favorite pedal ever. With the expression pedal and the built-in filter you can make some really fantastic celestial soundscapes.

I love playing chords and having the various octaves and sub-octaves swell in behind. The freeze-gliss mode is just...like... whoa.

Also if you wanna have weird stuff put your pedals in weird orders....reverb before delay.....Delay before fuzz....

Eventide Pitchfactor is a fun time. Lots of stuff to get into there. POG2 is also a riot and easier to manipulate, can do the organ much better then the 'tide. Goatkeeper tremelo is pretty much a freak machine in itself. There are so so many more...

Mess around with analog delays and use werid materials as a pick or whatever you'll find neat stuff.

Reverse delay (timeline) + reverse reverb w/feedback (cathedral) + POG2 attack fader (swells) and octaves plus filter. Lots of crazy stuff there. Mostly a mess but sometimes...
