I’m kinda surprised to see the routing as my MIK Schecter Traditionals both have swimming pool routes. That said, they sound and play exceptionally well. I did swap the stock electronics though.
I’ve played a few of the newer Indonesian Schecter models and they rip. I think the carbon rod reinforced ultra thin c is a creation of theirs. I’ve only seen it available on their models. Maybe my favorite profile and neck.
My chinese squier classic vibes have perfect neck pockets. When i say perfect i mean literally perfect to the point they could not be better. I have never owned a fender as good in that regard. China is making guitars that just don't get better aside from cheaper hardware.
WMI all the way: used schecters from the 2000s are a steal, got 3 now -- also, a jtv-59, currently on the block, and costing a lot more, but including the variax modelling
