I know that's the Supreme 16 head on top, but which models are the 3 combo amps from left to right? or is that just a speaker cab under the head?

f-o-s: left is a Super Deluxe 2x12, middle is a custom combo 1x12 cab I had made by Jeff Swanson, right is a '97 Vibra-Trem.

I finally had a chance to really wank thru the S16 this morning.

EF86 channel: WOW! I guess I've never played thru an AC15.......this channel has gobs of chewy rich gain (fat switch on)!!!

Full EQ Channel: Not alot of clean here, but the voicing is Supremely Superb for that 70s Marshall sound.

Speakers & Cabs*: Sounds Good thru a 1x12 with Blue, but maybe a little wooly. Sounds Great thru a 1x12 with a Greenback, but this setup is lacking punch for live.....recording would be a dream, though! Sounds Supremely Superb thru a 2x12 with Blue + Heritage G12H......WOW.....*this* is how the amp should be played, IMO. (*1x12 open back cab is approximately the same dimensions as the matching S16 1x12 cab; 2x12 cab is the open back cab from my year 2000 CR, which is essentially the same dimensions as the matching S16 2x12 cab)

Conclusions: Not much in the way of clean sounds, not much Fender, nails the AC15 sound on the EF86 channel (so I'm told.....I haven't ever played one), and A WHOLE LOTTA MARSHALL GRIND on the full EQ channel.......this is a CLASSIC ROCK amp lovers wet dream!!!!! :crazy

I just bought the new Top Hat Club Royale 1x12 combo from Stu this week-
if you are thinking of a purchase of this amp, you will be most pleased, a joyful toneful experience. I did order 2 lil dawg amps from Jim, and they have great wow factor too, can wait for that Dawg clean to creamy goodness to come play with the tophat!!

Just got done playing the sup. 16 with the blue / heritage H + the tophat super deluxe 212 TOGETHER. Riff, you gotta try it out yourself. the classic rock tones are to die for. i set up the super deluxe w/ master all the way and vol. at noon, supreme 16 master cranked, vol about 3 oclock. STAND BACK!

update on this amp: mid control on the full EQ channel is the key to getting more clean from this channel. master up, mid down, preamp vol to taste, and it stays reasonably clean and sounds more "Fendery" than any other Club Series amp I've played.

but my conclusion about this amp getting superb classic rock tones still stands. Brian's best effort to date in the 20W amp realm, IMO (although I have not yet heard the new CR which is supposed to be pretty darn kick @$$!)

Yep, me too. I have several amps but the little Club Royale makes a gig and/or rehearsal several times per month and is used all the time at home. Had it for about six months now. Love it! :AOK

Very Nice! How was the amp set up?

I have clips, too, but they are not hosted on a website. If anyone wants to hear them, just shoot me an email (4 clips at about 4 megabytes each).

I did the clip for the guitar not the amp ,so I didn't take notes. However, I remember that it was into the tone control side about 2 o'clock on the volume. I was using a emi governor/red fang setup.
