That was a cool indy flick. Have you seen The Little Hours?
She would definitely make a great Black Cat for Spider-man. Cat Woman needs more overall raw sex appeal with secondary humor; I feel like Aubrey is the reverse of that.
Her style on display is uncomfortable - I realize she is putting on an act - but come on - Crazy Girl is not fun. I do feel that her schtick is riffing on Andy Kaufman type method comedy - I don't enjoy that noise anymore.
As for her suitability for Catwoman - she doesn't have the sensuality - nor displays the internal strength in any of her movies. I don't think she has it in her.
She's like a stoned Olivia Munn.
Not seeing it.
I would have loved to have taken a tour of Rockefeller Plaza when she was a page. Evidently most of the tour was wacky lies she made up on the spot.
Word on the street
I'd say less that she's riffing on Kaufman type comedy than that she's exhibiting an equivalent level of commitment to the performance.
You say that like it's a bad thing.
Pretty tough to top Halle Berry’s rendition of Cat Woman. And IMO Ms. Plaza certainly wouldn’t be a contender....
I thought Aubrey Plaza was a place...........................................
Aubrey Plaza is pretty hot in a weird way.
Tough to compete with Julie Newmar, Eartha Kitt, Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry, et al.
Not sure she stacks up.
I enjoy seeing her in stuff, she's got something going on. Not sure about Catwoman though.
Yep, great flick. Had me guessing/wondering right 'til the end.
Is this the thespian version of cat woman?
I'm not sure I would wish the role of Catwoman on anyone....I'm just not seeing it as a hit movie....
She is, however, Cat-Lady crazy. May that in itself could be used to set up a SitCom version of Cat Woman.........
That’s not really any kind of evidence to flat out say she’s ‘not that nice’. It sounds more like idle gossip to me.
