Easy, now..... what if Pete gets REALLY famous.... then we'll have to bash him, instead of digging him. Isn't that how it goes around here, with some of the folks?!?!

put down the computer and practice for a thousand hours
    that's just a starter
then pick up the computer and spend a couple hundred hours learning how to do THAT
and remain kind-hearted, hard-working, genuine, and humble
    good luck with that

This reminds me of a running joke I have with my wife. Whenever we have a problem that we can't seem to solve, I say "A-Ha! I've got it! First, we build a time machine...."

    I think that applies here.

Who gives a **** about hits?

...Probably lots of people I guess, anyways, I'm not one of them.

What sold me on him was his instrumental guitar nerd album. I have a hard time listening to most instrumental guitar albums the whole way through without going into guitar overload and needing a break. The guitar nerd album I can do that with. It's a great album to have for long drives too, especially if you have to make them alone.

The dude craps awesome guitar riffs, this being a guitar forum, kind of makes sense that he's popular here.

Besides his mad guitar skills, he strikes me as an incredibly humble, friendly and likeable guy. Who wouldn't want to be like that?

i think some of the guys from here should do a TGP tour.

    Pete
    JustNick
    Tomo
    JJ Boogie
    Kimock
    Splatt
many others i'm currently unaware of...

and maybe some of the more secretive 'big' name guys sitting in at various stops. (that way we'd know they're on here, but not their logins)

I met Tomo at NAMM this year....

Such a wonderful player and an amazing teacher. I'd love to take lessons from him.

He gave me some great concepts in 10 minutes. He has totally mastered the fretboard.

As for Pete- I just buy whatever he uses...
