And I never have made a post about a junk guitar and to try to get someone to own it? It is a quality guitar if I post about a brand that I like. And everyone else around the guitar community gives a praise report of that brand.

I'm a big fan of Gibson stuff. I'd suggest looking for a used Jr or Special. 90s era and early to midhttps://reverb.com/item/14407512-hamer-studio-p90-90-gold-top2000s era are great. Prices are reasonable, IMO.

I'd also HIGHLY recommend checking out one of these Hamer Studio GT guitars. I have one. Really awesome.

I have a late '90s SG Junior and a Doublecut LP Special from the same era. Both are awesome guitars, but the SG has the biggest neck of any Gibson I've ever tried.

Yes I do. I have owned a few. Friends have owned a few. I run into used ones at local shops now and again.

I've had older 90's production specials and a CS historic Jr - there was an absolute difference. I'd find a used historic jr or special. Currently have a 1974 LP Special and a double cut jr from a local builder.

Is that yours? If so I'm looking forward to hearing more about it.

No it is not. All I can tell you is I own a Italia. Trev Wilkerson makes the Italia brand and Vintage brand. And I personaly have never seen one in person. The vintage brand. But I belong to a lot of guitar clubs. And they love the brand and Harley Benton's too. I personaly belong to the Vintage guitar club. And guess what they love them too. Most people that own the vintage brand say that they are well made. A cheaper version of a Gibson style and great quality. I personal cannot tell you of this brand. Just the Italia. But both are made in the same country. And my Italia is a great axe. So is this could be to I would think?

    Agreed.
It's just not that hard to make a good junior for reasonable cost.

So it's about a grand here..and if it's rosewood board that's an issue due to cites.

    Got it, thanks

A local dealer carries the Vintage brand but only stocks reliced Tele and Strat style.

One of those kit guitars intrigues me..

Rock n roll relics makes a good one, I played a thunders model at BC Audio's booth at the San Francisco amp show a few years back, just a killer axe.
Mickey at Distortion Bros had a killer single hum RnR relic too.

Precision Guitar Kits makes a Jr/Special with a huge neck. Pretty easy to put together too.

I have a 1996 Orville LP Special, with a Thorn neck pickup and a Harmonic Design bridge pickup. That guitar is easily my number 1...just a superb guitar.

The orville's are killer. Played a few regular Les Pauls that were easily as good as any off the rack US Gibson.

I do however lust for Nick Greer's Customshop Junior in white..man that thing sings.
