This morning I got a msg that I am #1 on ReverbNation's GLOBAL ranking for "Hot" artists...I can't help but think about how so many of you have supported and shared my music with your friends and fellow artists.

I am absolutely humbled and overwhelmed by the response I've had with the music since I decided to give it another go in the limelight this year. As some of you know, I've been through two labels and was almost "shelved" by a "Major" a few years back. It put a bitter taste in my mouth that I feared I'd never shake...it was scary (and still is)...

It's only been a few months since I put myself back out there and already I'm doing several radio interviews/performances, shows, online interviews, and the numbers on my sites are steadily rising every morning I check in.

This is all bc of YOU - I just share what comes to me and without YOU, there is NO "Dave Owens." Thank you all from the absolute depths of my heart and soul...if there's ever anything I can do for you all, please let me know.

Right on! I'll be sure to post them on here but just in case...I'm doing WDVX's Blue Plate Special (www.wdvx.com) on Sept. 21st, pretty sure it kicks off around noon Eastern Time.

The second one is i105 WFIV's Homegrown Show (www.myi105.com) on Sept. 29th at 7PM ET. I'll be sharing the night with Michael Logen - great player and songwriter from Nashville that I met about a month ago and invited out. This will be my last show in Knoxville before we move out west!

Thanks guys! JB - you just have to keep at it. Don't be afraid to stay in at night and practice when everyone else is out partying...soon they'll be partying with you if you play your cards right.
