sell my guitars to pay for taxes. Screw that.
Ironically, moving to Canada wouldn't do me any good in the Tax dept
First, how easy is it to move to Canada?
Second, are you really forced to do that? Definitely look into what's going on with your taxes and withholding if so. And also, that sucks. Sorry to hear that.
Syria. I hear it's a real dump.
What makes you think Canada will have you?
On behalf of all Canucks:
We will have you.
Abooot time you came.
Yeah, but no taxes! Of course, you have no income to take taxes from, no stores to charge sales tax because there's nothing to buy, no public services and you could get killed at any minute, but hey, look at the bright side...no taxes!!!
Something tells me that would lead to a perilous journey to Sweden.
Just don't bring yer guns, eh? Also, ask aboot havin' yer guitars winterized.....
Yeah, because there's no guns in Canada! I mean, you're in Alberta. RCMP and High River?
That's right, plenty of guns up here, no need to bring your own.
Unless you're going hunting. In which case you have to declare them and fill out some paper work.
Ah, the Defender of Canada has arrived. Vancouver and guns...let's see...
Why that's some fascinating data you're presenting there Chilicat but as usual, I'm not at all clear of the point you're attempting to make. Unless you're just trying to make a personal attack (Defender of Canada?) I agree, Vancouver has quite a few problems with gangs and guns, unlike Arizona.
You are right.
In spite of how much we complain, the US ranks near the bottom of developed nations in terms of what we pay in taxes.
OP, moving to Canada would increase your tax burden. I agree with A-Bone, chat with an expert before having to part with valued possessions.
If push comes to shove, your faithful TGP brethren will happily assist by offering you pennies on the dollar for your gear, just don't make the mistake of asing for PP Gift.
You beat me to it!
If it makes you feel better I am down to a couple of Asian imports that are so heavily modded they won't command much money anyway. Got rid of all American made guitars and amps for reasons including paying tax bills.
