Ian sent me pics of the "TV" Flying V. That milky white finish is going to be so cool...

I've had some conversation with Ian about hardware and plastic color. It's going to be a milky TV finish. Would you go with gold and black, nickel and creme, or some other combination. Maybe no covers at all. I'm open to suggestions.

That's going to be a beauty mi amigo I vote for nickle/cream or white with nickel covers. I got to see it when its done.

I see you're going with stoptail instead of string-thru body?

That's going to be nice either way. I've been trying to find an inexpensive korina V and I like the '58 appointments better than the later styles.

It's going to have the V tailpiece. I drill the holes after I fabricate it and the pickguard. and they drill cleaner through the color as there are no bushings in the back. I'm thinking gold hardware/covers and black plastic might look good on a TV finish. It shares the same hue. Although nickel might look pretty good. I did the black one in nickel and the red one in gold.

I guess you could settle for that if there are no Chevys or mopars to be had.
