Custom spec (for another Gear Pager ) with Brazilian rosewood and back cuts
The guitar is relatively light weight at 8 lbs 6 oz
Neck is .880 at the 1st and around 980 at the 13th
    6105 frets
    24.625 scale
    12" radius
    Pigtail bridge
Sheptone hand wound PAF style pups
RS pots and Jensen paper in oil caps
    Nitro lacquer burst
    Honduras mahogany body
    Eastern flame maple top
Premium brazilian board... the only one with brazilian

I quite like it. I'm not a Les Paul maven but do have an R7 w/ Fralin PAFs. The Gibson seems to have slightly more a$$, but the IA has a little more "balance." The IA is way more comfy for me. The neck angle feels different than the Lester, and the bridge is more comfortable to me. These are preliminary impressions, as I've only had it a few days. Cool guitar.

Wow, absolutely beautiful. I love the Tele/Les Paul look. Is the top carved or flat?

    Congrats and enjoy.

I like those "Tele-meets-LP" designs. Huber, Gustavsson and now Ian Anderson. Good company!

Congratulations!! I am looking foward to more impressions after you put a few miles on her.

I'll be joining the club in about a month (sealer this week).

Since I have yet to play one I can't comment on the guitars, but I can say that Ian has been a total blast to work with. His enthusiam and attention have been just amazing.

    Cheers,

    Edward

WOW!!! That turned out great. I am sorry I passed on it. I DO love my IA Standard that Ian built me last year. Mine is all black and I had wanted to add a burst one but this one came up at a bad time, plus I prefer no tummy cut on the back (like an LP).

You have one great guitar there...enjoy!!!
