I spent a few minutes with a DE-7 at a store today and thought it sounded pretty good, and the price is right as well. But I've read reviews of this pedal online and many people seem to have reliability problems with theirs, in particular the switch.

    Anyone have any thoughts?

They fixed the switch problems recently. Pretty much anything you buy new in a store now is fine. I bought one back in december, and the switch went pretty fast. It has a one year warranty, so i just exchanged it for a new one. New one is going strong. :band

Gigged both of mine hard for two years before replacing them with a Space Echo. Zero problems. Excellent pedals.

I still have one on my B-rig.

I've had mine (and used to use it at least a few hours a week) for years and no problems. Solid little pedal.

I never actually use the switches as I run mine on the echo mode at 600ms. The thing is a great pedal for the money and oscillates very well. The analog simulation is very good.

DE-7 is a great delay, better than many twice the price.

I'm sad to report my died after a couple years of light use. Great sound though while it worked.

    very true.

i'll also add that folks with fuzzzzzzes don't seem to have problems with this delay as they do with other buffered delays. . . .
