Hi guys first time posting on here after much lurking...

Ebay Clicky

Does anyone know anything about these particular guitar(s)?
is it a one off type deal or are there more of these out there somewhere?
Just wondering because I really love the look of the production run, but the idea of a MIJ version is obviously much more appealing for the inner gear snob.

Merry Christmas people!

Lol, dude if it ain't a strat or a tele or a Gibson/Gretsch good luck getting any insight from the... ahem, older gentlemen on this board. I'd head over to the Ibanez msg boards with this question, if I were you.

Or Sevenstring.org.

I'm an avid ERG player that's only recently delved into the realm of "older gentlemen" music/playing/guitars/effects (strats, teles, and Timmies) that this board seems to be made of. I enjoy both worlds. I played heavy metal, rock, and punk for most of my career so this board is a welcome and mature repreive from some of the wackiness that goes on at SSO. But I've owned/own several 8-string guitars, a few 7s, and a couple multiscales. Don't worry. There are a few of us here :)

Unfortunately, I'm at work and can't check the link on my govt. computer, but yeah, SSO should be able to answer your question almost immediately. Cheers!

Looks a bit suspect to me. Could be legit, or it could be that someone slapped some parts together and printed some decals. Not sure why the Fujigen plant would make a proto for a guitar built in a completely different facility. Wouldn't it make more sense to the Indo plant to make the proto?

Yeah thats what I'm wondering, the serial number seems to checkout though oddly enough, I've posted on 7string.org, so maybe somebody over there will know something.

*EDIT
The more I look at it the more I'm thinking this was a neck swap from a MIJ 8 string on to the body of the Ironlabel just doesn't seem quite right.
