I once saw and held a hot pink Ibanez P540ii (bridge H, neck stacked H).

This thing was so light, one would think it was made of balsa wood. And the thing sang. The only thing close I've heard was a Washburn N2, though I don't think it was quite as light...

So, does anybody know for sure what the P540ii was made of? Was it chambered?

It would have been made of basswood, no chambering. Those are pretty hard to find guitars!

Are you sure? I thought I'd read that it was made of Alder.
