Vintage, very high quality Ibanez PF 100 with the sound of a Les Paul and 335. The arched birch top sits above the mahogany body with an air gap between the woods, giving the PF100 a wonderful semi hollow sound and, coupled with a maple neck, gives the guitar a crisp punch.
The Ibanez PF100 has been well loved and played over it’s 38 year life, and comes with some dings, some scars and some belt buckle rash on the back to prove it.
The neck is a joy to play, the rolled fingerboard binding feels “played in,” the nut is carefully hand-shaped, and the strings sit just above the 1st fret.
The medium jumbo frets have seen some action and will need a dress at some point, though it’s very playable as. I’ve gigged with the Ibanez for the last few years.
Neck is straight, action is low, and it’s set up ready to play with GHS Boomers 8.5-40 strings.
No trades, thanks.
