Anyone compared these two overdrives side by side?

If so, I'd be interested in your impressions.

And if you don't like tube screamers, no need to weigh in.

Analog Mike said the ERD is an 808. No mods. He helped EHX pick the components to get the same tone. But it's NOT a modded 808, it's an 808 RI.

Cool! I like the true bypass aspect of it..I never really cared for the buffered bypass in the Ibanez . For anybody that knows, how does the stock 808s differ from AMs mods? More dynamics?

ok, so it's an 808RI with true bypass.... jeez.... this isn't rocket science guys!! The GUY WHO HELPED DESIGN IT says it sounds just like an 808RI... good enough for me...

Yeah , good enough for me to. Now just seeing if anyone happens to know the tonal diff between Mikes modded 808 and a standard ri?

thanks mike..i would love to get back the tone i once had when i had one of your 808ri tv mods. do you do those mods to the east river?
