Forgive me if this has come up but a search did not bring forth anything on the subject. I was just on the Ibanez site and noticed the TS808HW but there is no information and the picture does not show anything as seen here:

    http://www.ibanez.com/electronics/product.aspx?m=TS808HW

A quick Google search yielded a hit to this page:

Towards the bottom, there is the TS808HW. Here is a pic of it.

Has anyone heard anything about this? Analogman a while back mentioned that Ibanez had something cool on the way. Maybe this is it? Again, sorry if I am stating the obvious here!

I think its supposed to be extraordinarily expensive. Its PTP though. No PCB from what I've heard.

I like the look a hell of a lot more than any other tube screamer enclosure.

Looks pretty cool, but I think they should have stuck with the Kawasaki green.

But will it sound any better than the best boutique 808's?

Doubt it, but my ears are open.

Just saw one @ Daddy's Junky Music in Boston this past friday. Listed at $400, and looks to be going for $299 street.
