It seemed like he was expecting a little more gain.

Looks like a neat little amp at a good price. Not really blown away by the sound, though.

Somone please fly me to NAMM next year to play in these booths, some of these guys are horrible and make anyone with a good ear not want to buy a product.

So it's an amp with a Tube screamer built-in? Huh? Wouldn't it be better to have a Tube Screamer pedal that you can use with any amp? :huh I could understand if the TS is your only pedal, this lets you plug in direct. :) But I bet anyone who uses s TS also uses a few other pedals too. So, you will still be using a pedalboard.

I just wish that amps like this, the Marshall Class5, etc. had an effects loop so that you could add reverb/delay and also be able to take advantage of the built in gain available and not have to run it totally clean.

So which circuit is it? TS-9, TS-808, TS-10? Can I get the amp modded by Robert Keeley or Analogman?

    it's a 15w tube amp for $300.
the footswitch for the amp controls a tubescreamer circuit and a booster.

how is this bad? if i was in the market and in that price range, i'd certainly check it out!

IMO I'm not paying for a tubescreamer with a amp attached to it. Because the hype is about the tubescreamer not the amp

That demo was an embarrassment. I think the people who were being subjected to it at the show didn't seem too happy either. Amp seems interesting though. Wouldn't mind hearing some real clips.

    Yeah that sure looks like
    Rob Balducci to me!

Not a great clip because you cant hear the back tracks.
Oh and it can be because Rob is such a beginner guitarist huh?

    NOT!

Rob is a very talented musician, just a bad audio clip.
I personally look forward to putting this amp through its paces.

Before bagging on someone, maybe do a bit of research first.
    Just my 2 cents.

I thought that looked like Balducci. I spoke with him through email on a few occasions and even though he is a super nice guy, that clip was really bad!

First time I've ever heard the suggestion. But I have often suspected this.

    I hate being limitatated. :sarcasm
