I’m confused about the sizes, but I’ve got a Bigsby on a les paul, but I’d rather have it on my SG. Anybody know if it will fit?

Dont think so. LP Bigsby has a contour so it can match the surface/curvature of the wood (IIRC?). SG's are flat so I think the bigsby for those is a different model

    Not quite.

Bigsbys for a LP are still flat. They don't sit flush to the body on a Les Paul. However, generally the 2 guitars use differernt types of mounting.

    Typically a SG will use a B5

    ...and a LP will use a B7.

However, I've seen pics of B7s on SGs before:

If you wanted to use a Vibramate and not drill holes in your top, you will need to use a B5.

Good info. I've been considering buying an SG with p90s and putting a bigsby on it. Nice to know which one to buy

I fit a Bigsby B7 to my 61 SG reissue with a modded vibramate. Takes a little massaging but not too bad.
