If a Strat is #1, what’s your #2 guitar?

If a Strat is your main tone, what do you play when you reach for your second favorite, a Tele, a Gibson or maybe a PRS?
    Just curious…

I'm divided between a Suhr Tele and LP Custom for 2nd place - today it would be the LP (yesterday it was the tele)

My #1 is a Strat, my #2 (broken string backup) is a Strat, my #3 is Rickenbacker 370/12.

I can't seem to make Tele's or humbucker equipped guitars work for me so I just go with the one's that do  . However, having said that, an exceptional sounding Strat is not an easy find.

#2 - Danny Gatton sig Tele

    #3 - ES335 - Sometimes #1 depending on the gig.

Looking for a new #1 currently - more than likely an Anderson.

    John, the question was:
    'what's your #2 guitar', not
    'what's your #2 instrument'....

    Currently the ES-335

For me it's more like a rotating #1 than a #2 draft pick.

#2 a recently purchased Les Paul Classic Light Burst. I just picked it up at the store out of curiosity, and couldn't put it down. Great neck, nothing fancy about it and it sounds incredible!

  13. My McNaught G5 and Melancon Classic Artist have been my #1 and #1a for a while now... my PRS Std 24 and McTrem are 2 and 2a

My Taylor 510ce sees a lot of time lately... the electrics and band space is in the basement, but I end up learning a lot of tunes in the living room upstairs with the Taylor in my lap...

Any guitar I've owned in the past 3-4 years has been a distant #2 to my Grosh RC. Sadly, I can't find anything even remotely close to this guitar for a backup.

The obvious answer is another Grosh RC. Don't have that kind of cash lying about anymore.
