If money was no object? First, one of everything that @Tom Von Kramm has on hand at the moment.

Then I’d wait for whatever he makes next.

If money were no object that must mean that I am super rich. So I would probably be too busy hanging out with my supermodel girlfriend and her friends to find the time to buy fuzzes.

Yeah, but what would you talk to them about?! Clothes? Instagram? Love island?!! :(

It’s not really living your best life is it?

My Bogner Oxford and Fulltone Octa are the ones that have stuck around. I can’t really talk about all-time greats though, I haven’t tried nearly enough yet.

True that. At the time I sold mine I believe the Burns museum didn’t even have one! I think there was mine and another owned by Robert Fripp. I took some abuse for asking a high price, pretty sure the exact same pedal turned up on Reverb a while back for almost £6K!!

A few different original Tone Benders (MKI & MKII), the enclosure and tone gets me everytime
I'd love a Skreddy Lunar Module Deluxe again too

I have managed to get several of my dream vintage fuzzes over the last few years, but I would still love a vintage Tonebender, Superfuzz, and Buzzaround.

I have a Guild Foxey Lady, Jordan Bosstone, and IC Big Muff that I love though.

For anyone that's interested, Ed Sanner made a bunch some years ago and they're still available for a reasonable price, and just like the originals considering parts tolerances...

Most of us gear enthusiasts here on TGP are well aware that being surrounded by fawning supermodels gets tiresome. I myself am currently taking a long and much needed break from it. :p

can only afford listening to demos but have certainly burned a lot of time comparing them. Too much time. I think I have an ear FWIW.

IMHO, the WTF does not have the same character. It sounds more generic to me. The prototype Keltner demoed was a little better, but by the time they made it to market, I thought it bore little resemblance to the Trombettas. I keep trying to convince myself I'm wrong, over and over, but I cannot.

I would rather try a clone from another builder, and in fact am. Rockett actively did not want the pedal to sound like a Bone, and were so proud of "improving" on Paul's design to sound more like an average popular overdrive that would sell. :barf

Sorry -Made in USA- but Germany has my BEST one: DanDrive Austin Pride

The Austin Pride Fuzz is based on a classic Fuzz Face style circuit with some helpful features for the musician with the a "god" taste. These mods are based on the ones that Cesar Diaz did for SRV back in the day. The transistors are available in different types wich are measured to get the best result of tone.

    KNOBS:

    • Level
    • Fuzz
    • clean up - control
    • Bias (listen to the point you like it)
    • Middle toggle: Lowcut
    • Lower toggles: switches between silicon (NTE128) and germanium (NTE103) transistors.
