I've heard about the Vibrolux, maybe I should read some reviews.
And the DRRI/ PRRI, whichever has the tube rectifier. ;)
Fender amps are priced unfairly here so I have no interest.
On a budget/recording use, Ibanez TSA15 over Blues Jr..

I like OCD cleans so maybe the Bassman suits me.

    Does this make sense:
    OCD ~ Marshall 1974 ~ Bluesbreaker ~ JTM45 ~ Bassman ??

Would love to hear a review when you’ve had a chance to play it for awhile. Really interested in this amp.

Depending on budget, either a '57 tweed Twin custom shop reissue, an original '68 Deluxe Reverb or a 50w blackface Bassman head with two 8 ohm G12-65's in an open back /closed back cab (simply replace a 60's Fender cab's rear panel while opening it up to remove the insulation).

Didn't read through the whole thread...so it might have been already mentioned.

A couple of months back I picked up a Fender '57 Custom Twin-Amp
    https://shop.fender.com/en-US/guitar-amplifiers/vintage-pro-tube/57-custom-twin-amp/8140500100.html

It's the first Fender I really wanted (from the current Fender crop)...because of the hand wiring, the quality trannies...assembled in the USA.
Oh, and it sounds really sweet too. :)

    I haven't read all responses, but I'd recommend a Super Sonic 60.

I have one, and it has plenty of volume when needed and it sounds really great. It won't go anywhere.

    +1!

I own this amp, but mine has 10” Greenbacks. I wouldn’t trade it for anything. This amp is THE sound I’ve always wanted.

Tip: The channels on this amp are in phase so you can easily run both simultaneously, and I highly recommend it! The classic Fender clean of the Normal mixed with the recognizable crunch of the Vintage, it’s just glorious.

I’d quit playing. The most overrated company living off the fumes from 50 years ago.

IMHO these two amps are the standard. I have been seriously thinking about the 64 HW DR lately. The 59 Bassman is legend. Nuff said!!!

Another vote here for the 68 Custom Vibrolux. Find your tubes and it’s off to the races. I replaced the Celestions in mine with the Alessandro SC64 10s and it gave it more of that Vintage Fender tone; glorious. Nothing wrong with the Celestions in this amp really, just personal preference. Jumping the channels is the bomb. The normal channel is actually a Super Reverb tone stack, even though Fender advertises it as a Bassman-like channel. When using this channel alone I really do experience this amp as a 2x10 Super Reverb. Cool!

I had a Hot Rod Deluxe 112, then went to a Twin Reverb because I like 212s and it was a Twin Reverb! Come to find out I liked the Hot Rod sound better and if I could do it over again I would get a Hot Rod Deville 212 instead.

    Sounds crazy I know.

I believe came out in 1952, kind of sucking fumes wouldn’t you agree.
