those look awesome. It takes a lot to get the proportion of curves in a singlecut right but these guys really have a nice take on the design.

I'm not big on Zemaitis-style guitars, but I love the look of Helliver's more traditional designs.

:AOK Such Helliver guitar received an excelent review in the latest issue of German Gitarre & Bass magazine!!
For those who don't know: this is a very critical guitar magazine and therefore has lots of authorithy here in Europe.

    Eh?
They share metal fronts with Tony Zemaitis' guitars.
A lot of his weren't even metal front - he made great acoustics too.

    Best, Pete.

droolworthy. i used to be crazy about the ornate engraving of zemaitis but i like the subtle look of these. it's more striking.

Prices are 1,600 Euro for the 1-PU model and 1,800 Euro for the one with 2-pickups in Germany. Foreign customers pay the equivalent minus 16% plus their country's sales tax and customs when purchasing dirctly from Helliver Guitars. We are working on a distribution for North America at the moment (hi Sam!). See the website www.helliver.de for more details and feel free to ask for further information (the website is has some english content but not everything is translated). And thanks for your appreciation, everybody!

That seems like a bargain. A similar Trussart is a lot more, but still a nice guitar. I'm interested.
