"Lest anyone thinks that was a real phone call, that was a farcical phone call, he spoke in code at the end which is in reference to an infamous radio disc jockey."

I probably learned more about singing from Billy West than any band or singers I've heard.

When I sing cover tunes I'm doing an impression.

Good luck, think I just heard you

That was awesome. I caught it, and I only hear the show for 30 minutes on my morning drive. Good thing you were a little late.

"All right, I'll hang in with this a little longer...."

    Your "trade" proposal was great.

And I loved that you knew that he was cutting it short and that you knew how to get out on your terms, rather than have Howard hang up on you.

If you can, and not that I'm looking, but how do you get hooked up with the show to do those call-ins? The behind-the-scenes of that show fascinates me, and since Howard changed the Wrap-Up Show, it's so much harder to see behind the curtain.

    thanks chris,

yeah, i loved the 'ill hang in with this a little longer'... hahahah! i laughed!

im a professional voice actor / actor in la (not one of the unemployed ones, luckily... and i thank my lucky stars everyday for that)... actually, stern wanted a friend of mine that was too busy to do the show, so they asked my agent if they had any other good guys... i was suggested, and i got the gig...

i basically get an email asking if i wanna do it, n im a big stern fan... so im always in... being on the west coast sucks, cause im up at 4am to go on the air...

yeah, nice they were a bit behind schedule today....

I've been listening to Howard religiously since 1986. He's still a big part of my day.

    And a bababooey to y'all
