Hello,
I've been setting my eyes on an Eastman solid archtop (solid top, back and sides) but I'm quite afraid of getting one. Since it's so expensive, and since i've heard so many stories about solid wood guitar tops warping, I'm left with a bit of fear.
I live in an around 75-95% humidity area in Portugal, and since i know humidity ''relaxes'' the wood and lets it warp more easily, I'm afraid it would not be a good ideia to have one...
Is there a special trick to keeping a solid archtop free of damage for years and years?
I might just get a laminate to avoid future problems...
thanks for your time.
