I never thought I'd say this, but I can't find anything to gas about right now!!! What the hell???? I've gone through just about everything I've wanted and I seem to have hit a wall. I need some thoughts, it's kind of making me feel all queezy and I'm not kidding!!!

I think I'm looking maybe for an interesting fuzz, something dirty and mean, and it must have bass and lots of it, not down for bright, thin fuzzes. I think I've covered all the overdrive ground, but you're welcome to throw recommendations my way anyway. I'm not looking for anything other than dirt.

Here's what I've got, try not to overlap:
    FUZZ
    BYOC Ram's Head Muff
    NYC Muff
Hoof Fuzz V.2 (on the way)
    BYOC MKII
    Monsterpiece MKII/NPN (Tonebender/Silicon Fuzzface)

    OVERDRIVE
    Fulldrive II
    ZVEX BoR
    Dano Cool Cat Transparent OD
Analogman King of Tone (as soon as taxes come in)

What I've had and gotten rid of with no regrets:
    Voodoo Lab Superfuzz
    Analogman Sunface NKT
    Keeley BD-2
    Monsterpiece Classic/AD2000

What I have NO INTEREST IN:
    One trick pony fuzzes
    Over the top crazy fuzzes
    Bronze fuzzes
    Octave Fuzzes

Recommend me a dirty, mean fuzz that's not too bright or lacking in bass.

Fuzz Factory? it can be over the top but definitely has usable tones.

Forgot to mention my brother has one, it does a ton of stuff, but it's a bit thin for me.

For Fuzz I would recommend the Blackout Effectors Musket. Possibly the most versatile Muff flavoured fuzz out there, and for OD I would recommend the Wampler Ecstasy (or whatever he is calling it now).

Both great pedals, and not too hard on the wallet.

This would most likely fall into the over the top category but the Malekko B:assmaster is pretty amazing, incredibly musical considering how in your face it is.

If you like tweaking, a Swollen Pickle. Will replicate some of the stuff you already have but also go beyond in several different directions. The scoop and crunch knobs, along with the 2 internal trim pots, make for many many interesting and good sounding possibilities. Still getting to know mine but have like 4 favourite settings already, without having touched the trim pots yet.

Falls into the Bronze category, do not want

I've had my buddies Swollen Pickle for about a week now and while it's cool, it's not great. I've found the general tone I like, but it's just too mushy, the notes don't hold together.

Maybe Im going against the grain here, but honestly you should just give it a rest and enjoy all those things you already have. Thats a long list of stuff.

I'd recommend the BYOC Ram's Head Muff. I can get ridiculously thick/heavy/bassy tones out of it. It sounds much heavier than any distortion I've ever used.

You should check out the Basic Audio, Skin Pimp, MJM, and D*A*M fuzz options. You have lots of fuzz homework.

BYOC Leeds Fuzz looks pretty interesting. Or something along those lines...Univox SupaFuzz-like?
