I'm planning on taking the jump, and putting the down payment on a Larry Grohmann build.

[MOD EDIT].....this thing is ****ing awesome!!!
    Absurdly punchy.
So far the Classic channel, based on a 68 Plexi, is beautiful! Loud as a 100w NMV Marshall can be, but with a top end that reminded me of my JMI AC-30.
The Rough channel(Mid 70's MV JMP) is extremely punchy, and it also likes to be played loud.
Not a modern metal amp, but if you want the best of what Marshall had offered through out it's 58 years in a single amp, the British Purist might be the one to get.

Correct, it's a 3 channel complete Marshall rebuild which I've accomplished back in 1995 and which never has been updated, just retubed once. Means, that this amp isn't on my last technical level.

    No he didn't !

My hometown in German language is Nürnberg

The vocal ü may be written also as ue, officially accepted by the authorities here in Germany

Since you don't have the ü on your keyboard, you can't write Nürnberg

Hence I wrote in my avatar Nuernberg, what's been absolutely correct.

That you name Nürnberg as Nuremberg in your language is ok, but don't criticize my spelling due to this - no reason, except you're trying to find a hair!

    Do it, don't hesitate!
But this hasn't been the question and doesn't match the header of this thread.
    Correct?

    Correct?

Moreover you should know, that I'm not only building tube amps, but work of art.
That kind of work of art, where you coincidentally also can plug in your guitar to create heavenly sounds

Andor, thank you very much for your kind words, very appreciated.

But to tell the folks about my huge stock of NOS glass makes me thinkful.
Maybe now some blackly thinking people form a gang to come over her to rob my stock?
Will have my two friends Smith&Wesson always have close to me now :D

God thanks you haven't told the folks also about my stock of early 90' NOS LCR electrolytics and about my stock of NOS transformer sheet metal from the 80' ;)

Btw I haven't started building your Rock Wizard not already on Monday, as I've promised you in my last email, but have started building it on Tuesday. Hope you don't dare with me :)

By any means thank you once again for your understanding and for your patience, but be sure, the pleasure with your Rock Wizard will pay back all your disquietude during the waiting time
