I've been listening to a a lot of YouTube videos and have down to the Black Ice Jumbo, the Black Ice WS-1000N2 or the Shorty FT. Forget about what they cost. Strictly on pure tone, which one would you personally go for? Here's a few of my favorite YouTube videos I'm going by.

Also, the H-WS1000N2 sounds great. Not sure what the differences would be between the Black version and the H.

Which One Would you Personally go for and why?

    Thanks, Res

i really like my WS1000. It sounds fantastic plugged in and very bright and articulate unplugged...loud and clear (and natural sounding) both ways at least to my ear. I think this guitar is just excellent. I take it to Alaska, Hawaii, rain or shine it stays in tune and sounds great. It's also very tough, I figure it will last my lifetime and satisfy's my ear just fine. I guess I'm not a purist, I just like what works for me and the Rainsong is a great guitar. If I had the cash, I'd buy one of their 12-strings to go with my WS1000 as it would sound awesome with so few tuning issues inherent in 12-strings.

This is like mine...9 years now and not a scratch on it...excellent intonation and "playability". I did lower the action a bit and that made a huge difference.
