What would be your playlist and why did you choose those songs?
I know that Santana's "Dance Sister Dance (Baila Mi Hermana)" would be one I'd really love to hear in a very fast car. Especially the hypnotic ending groove.
LaGrange...a whole bunch of ZZ Top
Breakdowns with banjo.
Well having driven an Autobahn like that I either can't remember or there was just no music on.
Trans-Europe Express! (oh and that other one)
Yes, but - imagine...
Absolutely nothing... I would be terrified and would need there to be no distractions as I look for the next exit to get the hell off of the autobahn
Now, if I were a passenger in a car with a skilled driver, it would be mood dependent and car dependent... sports car = rock or progressive / fusion music like Deep Purple, Rainbow, Rush, Yes, Brand X, Holdsworth, Bruford, etc. ... luxury sedan = jazz (Metheny, Corea, Miles, Herbie, etc.)
Honestly if I was I would hope to be driving a carbureted V12, isn't that music enough?
Beat me to it. When that song comes on I have to take my foot of the gas pedal or things are gonna speed up.
Hiway to Hell
Since he’s huge in Germany I’d have to blasting some tasty David Hasselhoff jams.
Passenger by Deftones would be one song on my playlist.
Fine. Someone qualified is driving for you and you’re in the front passenger seat - if you prefer.
“Rock Bottom” live from SITN would be another pick.
“The Sails Of Charon” would be a blast, especially Ulrich’s first incendiary guitar solo.
